I love my neighbourhood because I grew up in Carnegie and have lived here my entire life. My family and I are active members of our local school community and St Anthony’s Church, and Koornang Road has always felt like the heart of the suburb. It offers an excellent mix of restaurants and cafés, many of which have been part of my life for as long as I can remember. One long-time favourite is Gabriella Pizza — it’s been around longer than I have and has been a regular family staple since childhood. I usually grab my coffee from Spilt Milk, where the owners and staff are always friendly and welcoming. Toward the end of the week, we love unwinding at the Carnegie Memorial Swimming Pool, especially relaxing in the spa. I was inspired to join Jim’s Laundry because we were specifically looking for an opportunity with a well-established, reputable brand.
